Miss Bugs decided to have a Spider-Man themed party.
Happy birthday, dear Bugs. We love you!

I received a sewing machine for my birthday four months ago. I finally opened it this week. Here is my first little project - a scripture tote for Bug's Book of Mormon. Yeah for me! :)

We took this picture for you, Grandma, by the Scottish thistle!

Here are a few photos from Adam & Kendra's wedding - June 5, 2009. I know I don't have a picture of the bride and groom yet. I was uploading more but ran into some issues. So, here's part 1 for now...enjoy!
A conversation yesterday:
Dad: Show mama your pants. [Standing at the top of the stairs Bugs shows me that her pants have dirty knees and a scrape on her hand.]
Mom: Oh, what happened?
Bugs: [Came down the stairs.] I hipped like this [she starts a kind of skipping step] and slipped.
I thought this was so cute. She said "hipped" instead of "hopped," hippity-hop, hippity hop. Classic. :)
Also, a new word we heard her use yesterday: Easily. And she used it in the correct context and everything!

By the way...who came up with that phrase? "Darndest? Anyway, my dd really does say the funniest things some times...
1. Her reply after I asked her to stop climbing on the play kitchen while her little brother was playing beneath on the floor, "I'm going to stay here forever." And she folded her arms. I have NO idea where she learned that.
2. Said yesterday morning after she spilled dry cereal on the floor. Daddy was "making" her help pick up the mess and she said between fake sobs, "I can't believe this."
3. When asked, "Why did you do that?" She always replies, "Because I'm not 'spose to do that."
4. Uses the following words correctly in a sentence: instead, actually, awful...
I know there have been others...if any of you remember them, please remind me!
She is just amazing! Here is my bugs...

We went to the state fair and Bugs got to ride a pony. Don't you just love the bandaid on her forehead? (No real need, she bonked and needed a bandaid!)
First of all, Bugs is a napper. As much as she doesn't like it, if she doesn't take one, let's just say total grump! Well, our Church is from 1-4 on Sunday, so Bugs does not get a nap. Check out the video below...let's just say she's a little tired. :)

At lunch today Ella was kind of scratching the table with her fork. I asked her to stop and she replied, "You'll never find it now, Ah ha ha ha ha." It was hilarious. She even did the little laugh with an evil tone. I asked her where she heard that and she said, "Swiper!" (From Dora the Explorer)

So today we were getting in the car after leaving the store. Bugs was in her chair and I was on the other side of the car strapping in Bubba. Bugs pointed out her window to a beautiful lady with white hair and she said,
"Look! We have a grandma like that!"
I smiled and said "Your right, we do!" How cute is that!?!? She's really into matching lately. She saw someone the other day that had the same dress as her and she says loudly, "Hey, we have that!" What a smartie.

Okay - so this was our favorite part. This little section showed the kids how the digestive system works. As you can see the final display was, well, poo! Look closely. There's actually a log coming down the pipe. It was disgusting, but hilarious! (As you can see Bugs is more interested in the bolts of the operation.)
In any case, we had a blast and recommend it to you.
It's kind of expensive, but worth it every once in a while.
