Father's Day Questionnaire

I scoured Pinterest for a Father's Day questionnaire and wasn't satisfied, so I made my own and decided to share! Click here to get it. I left the year blank so you can use it more than once. Also, there are two per page, so they are small enough to fold in half and inlcude in a regular greeting card or nice to paste on colored paper if making a homemade card. Hope it helps someone out there!

Who do you think you are?

There's a new show on NBC beginning March 5th that follows several celebrities in researching their family history.  Pretty cool!  Take a look at the link below.

Life is What We Make It

“One’s life … cannot be both faith-filled and stress-free. …

“Therefore, how can you and I really expect to glide naively through life, as if to say, ‘Lord, give me experience, but not grief, not sorrow, not pain, not opposition, not betrayal, and certainly not to be forsaken. Keep from me, Lord, all those experiences which made Thee what Thou art! Then let me come and dwell with Thee and fully share Thy joy!’ …

“Real faith … is required to endure this necessary but painful developmental process.”

Elder Neal A. Maxwell (1926–2004) of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles, “Lest Ye Be Wearied and Faint in Your Minds,” Ensign, May 1991, 88, 90.

This quote is definitely a wake up call for me.  It's like, "Buck up!"  This - is - life.  We all have to experience tough times to enjoy the good.  So just deal with the tough times, keep pushing foward, have faith and hope, and endure to the end.

Find the joy in your life right now.  Because it's there even though it's hard to see sometimes.  We make the mistake that our happiness lies in the future...once we get through these hard times.  Life is what we make it.  So make yours a joyful one!

July 30th

Around July 30th we'll become a family of 5. Yup - we're having another baby! Bugs is hoping for a girl, but we shall see.

Happy Thanskgiving!

Look at these cute kids. These two here are less than two days apart.

The official "kids table."

"Oh, I think I'm going to be sick."
Ha, ha...nice pic!

Happy Birthday, our dear 4-year-old!

She turned 4!!!!
Miss Bugs decided to have a Spider-Man themed party.
Our family joined us...

She received wonderful presents - thank you!

Blew out candles and ate cake and ice cream.

Once all of the other guests left Bugs' best friends, her cousins, stayed for a sleepover. They played with the new toys and dress up - these costumes are actually some of my old dance costumes from back in the day...great, huh!?!?

Bubba decided to join the fun...

New story books...notice the pages are all turned to the happy endings.
I love these girls!
We made a huge bed out of the couch cusions and they watched a movie.
The day after her party...here are the Spider-Man girls.

Happy birthday, dear Bugs. We love you!
