Okay - I know it's way late and my boy will probably wake up at 5. Wahoo! No, not really. I was a beast today. Anyway, I digress. Back to the subject...
I was on my way home from work and a song came on the radio that blasted me back to the past. There are a few others like that. Let me list the ones on my mind now, I might not remember in them morning. It was...
I'm sure there's so many more. I'll post as I remember. Oh, here's one that my friends will get a kick out of it..take a guess. Shebereber with me baby.
Oh, the good ol' CARE FREE (well mostly) days. Feel free to share in the comments. I love memory lane.

One of our really good friends, Marissa, was married 2 weeks ago. Well, the night before the wedding they had an awesome dinner. Then marissa's husband (fiance then) treated us all to speed racing - Thanks, Ishmael! Here's some pictures and video. We all had a blast - just like old times.

By the way...who came up with that phrase? "Darndest? Anyway, my dd really does say the funniest things some times...
1. Her reply after I asked her to stop climbing on the play kitchen while her little brother was playing beneath on the floor, "I'm going to stay here forever." And she folded her arms. I have NO idea where she learned that.
2. Said yesterday morning after she spilled dry cereal on the floor. Daddy was "making" her help pick up the mess and she said between fake sobs, "I can't believe this."
3. When asked, "Why did you do that?" She always replies, "Because I'm not 'spose to do that."
4. Uses the following words correctly in a sentence: instead, actually, awful...
I know there have been others...if any of you remember them, please remind me!
She is just amazing! Here is my bugs...

We went to the state fair and Bugs got to ride a pony. Don't you just love the bandaid on her forehead? (No real need, she bonked and needed a bandaid!)

Let me explain where this beetle came from...DD was in our back yard picking currents from our flower garden. We came inside and all of a sudden DD started screaming, shaking, and running. She had a dress on and what fell out of her dress? Why a big huge ugly bug! Needless to say she and I stayed in the kitchen while Daddy and Bubba checked out the bug. Yuck, but adorable picture, huh!?!?

We had a blast with family at T's cousin's house for a pioneer day celebration! Bugs liked the fireworks, but she insisted on covering her ears! Here are some pictures and video!

I love how your face lights up when you see someone you love.
I love those bright blue eyes!

You sit up like a pro and have for about month now.
You love to eat! Not just food, but everything.

If there is something in your arm's reach...you'll grab for it, and it usually get it!
You roll all over the place in your crib, but don't really like to lay down when you're awake - youd rather sit, stand, or jump.

I don't know how many of you remember the movie, "Night at the Roxbury." It was big my Sr. Year of High school. Anyway, when I saw this recent Super Bowl commercial, it totally cracked me up. Just wanted to share.

Okay - so this was our favorite part. This little section showed the kids how the digestive system works. As you can see the final display was, well, poo! Look closely. There's actually a log coming down the pipe. It was disgusting, but hilarious! (As you can see Bugs is more interested in the bolts of the operation.)
In any case, we had a blast and recommend it to you.
It's kind of expensive, but worth it every once in a while.

The Bug's current favorite phrase is, "On the left side." Everything is "on the left side." I had just brough up the highchair out of storage and was cleaning it off. Here was our conversation:
Mom: This is the baby's chair.
Bugs: It's kinda like my chair. [She points.] There's my chair, on the left side.
Mom: Yup - you're right.
She makes me laugh.
