Who do you think you are?
There's a new show on NBC beginning March 5th that follows several celebrities in researching their family history. Pretty cool! Take a look at the link below.

Life is What We Make It
“Therefore, how can you and I really expect to glide naively through life, as if to say, ‘Lord, give me experience, but not grief, not sorrow, not pain, not opposition, not betrayal, and certainly not to be forsaken. Keep from me, Lord, all those experiences which made Thee what Thou art! Then let me come and dwell with Thee and fully share Thy joy!’ …
“Real faith … is required to endure this necessary but painful developmental process.”
Elder Neal A. Maxwell (1926–2004) of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles, “Lest Ye Be Wearied and Faint in Your Minds,” Ensign, May 1991, 88, 90.
This quote is definitely a wake up call for me. It's like, "Buck up!" This - is - life. We all have to experience tough times to enjoy the good. So just deal with the tough times, keep pushing foward, have faith and hope, and endure to the end.
Find the joy in your life right now. Because it's there even though it's hard to see sometimes. We make the mistake that our happiness lies in the future...once we get through these hard times. Life is what we make it. So make yours a joyful one!

Scripture Tote
I received a sewing machine for my birthday four months ago. I finally opened it this week. Here is my first little project - a scripture tote for Bug's Book of Mormon. Yeah for me! :)

Suprise!
Here is the next picture I saw...
Do you notice the difference? Yup - Daddy decided to buzz his beautiful locks OFF! So SAD! I couldn't believe it. Hopefully he'll have hair by this birthday! Don't worry, I still love both my boys...hair or no hair! :)

The Woman Challenge

This May, thousands of women across the country will embark on an eight-week physical activity challenge for better health. They will be part of the Woman Challenge, a program of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services' Office on Women's Health (OWH). Woman Challenge is a part of the OWH year-long Woman Activity Tracker program and its launch will kick off the 10th annual National Women's Health Week
(May 10-16, 2009).
The Woman Challenge encourages women to get at least 2 hours and 30 minutes of moderate-intensity aerobic physical activity each week.
I signed up, join me! We could make a team.
